Heat can change everything – training, racing, performance. The body’s natural cooling mechanism through the evaporation of sweat and water reaches its limits under high exertion. The patented Omius cooling elements are made of highly thermally conductive graphite with a hydrophilic coating that optimizes water absorption and evaporation, creating a cooling effect on the body. When water or sweat evaporates, it absorbs energy. In humans, this evaporation occurs on the surface of the skin, drawing heat away and cooling the body. The Omius technology increases the surface area from which water can evaporate through the graphite elements – enhancing the cooling effect. You need to moisten the cooling elements on the outer side facing away from the body. The water is absorbed into the porous graphite, which provides approximately five times the surface area for evaporation. Since the cooling effect is powered by water evaporation, it functions continuously – as long as the cooling elements remain wet and exposed to airflow.

Warranty:

All Omius Headbands, Visors, and Caps purchased through us are covered by a limited 1-year warranty from Omius Inc., effective from the date of purchase. This warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship.

In the event of any such defect occurring during the warranty period, we will coordinate with Omius Inc., who will, at their discretion:

(a) repair or replace the product with one of the same or a current design, or

(b) issue a refund.

NOTE: The Omius cooling pieces DO NOT include a warranty against damage or breakage as they are by design fragile and may on occasion break. Damage or breakage of cooling pieces is not considered a manufacturing defect.
